Tax and spend?

“Nowhere in their manifesto do Labour rule out altering the thresholds for National Insurance and the 40p rate of income tax.” That’s a weak line of argument – you can conjecture anything that isn’t in there, but as a working family whose biggest cost is childcare, a tax rise to increase subsidies might  be welcome
